We made it!

Well, J and I ran our 1/2 marathon in Traverse City today and WE MADE IT!  J did awesome.  He ran it in about 2 hours and 10 minutes. I was about 35 minutes behind him at 2 hours and 45 minutes.  We have to look up the "official" times still, but those should be pretty close.  PICS to come.  We are still in Traverse City.  Off to Indian River tomorrow and back on Tuesday.  We are SORE but ALIVE and that is what matters.  What a FANTASTIC thing to be a part of.  THANK YOU to everyone who supported us and donated to such a FABULOUS cause.  We are BLESSED to be surrounded by such WONDERFUL family and friends!

The newest Body Paint...

RANCH SAUCE! OMG!

Mommy's Day

On Thurs the 7th Evan's Preschool put on a Mother's Day function. There was dinner, dessert, crafts and entertainment. Boy, was there entertainment. As you can see from the photos above....Evan hid his face during the mother's day songs. He did not want to participate at all! Poor baby! Then it was time to receive our homemade gifts. They paper mached a flower pot and planted us flowers (the pot is sitting on my window sill getting some sun as I type), hand flowers, and a mother's day poem with handprints and their pics. It was a wonderful night. My mom came over to watch BB so that I could have some one on one time with my big boy.
Evan and I made a small gift for all his teachers. We took pens and used floral tape to secure flowers on the tops of them. That is the basket of flowers you see in our hands. They turned out rather well and the teachers all seemed to really enjoy them.
On actual Mother's day we all went out for breakfast. Then cleaned out mommies car (that is a shole day in itself), then took naps (all of us:)), and headed out to the BARN! We all (except J...he is a chicken) rode and EVAN especially loved it (SO DID I). What a FANTASTIC day! Happy Mother's day to you all!!!!!

Caught Ya!

Well, I NEVER thought I would see the day when Queen Tata and Belle would snuggle. Unfortunately, I caught Belle up on my bed (which she is not allowed to be on), but none the same it was SWEET!

Brayden's 2nd Birthday Party

Well, my little B has brown-up. He turned 2 yrs old! Where does the time go. He had two birthday "parties." Meme, Pop-pop and Auntie Olga came over on Wed for dinner, cake and presents. A good time was had by all. Thanks Meme and Pop-pop for the delicious ribs and fixin's.
Sat. the Reinhart Clan went to Evan's T-ball game and then came back here for some Tastefully Simple goodies, dump truck cake, and presents. We celebrated Mother's Day also. It was a nice time. I wish the day would have been a little warmer though.

The Zoo...

Man I love my CAMERA!

Well, on Brayden's actual 2nd Birthday I kept Evan home from Preschool and we all headed to the ZOO! The boys and I had a fantastic time!! The weather was not to hot and not to cold. Mommy was EXHAUSTED after pulling 65 pounds of boy(s) in the wagon however. Brayden liked the butterfly and reptile houses the BEST. Evan loved the dippin' dots the best. Mommy loved being with BOTH of them the best. All in all it was a great day. Happy Birthday Brayden!
Almost forgot, when we got to the monkeys I said to the boys "Look, there are your brothers and sister's." Evan asked why and I said because you two act like monkeys of course...and he said HI brothers....hi sisters and waved.....
What a crack-up:)

1st GAME

GO LUMBERKINGS!

I know the sign says Lumber Jacks, but they are actually the LumberKings! The T-ball Pep Rally was Fri the 1st and the kids had a GREAT time despite the weather. The teams were announced and then proceeded to have a "parade" around the schools track. Then they had bouncies, ice cream, pizza, Dan Dan the Choo Choo man and more. Then Sat the 2nd was team pics and then Game #1 of the season. Since there is NO score in T-ball I can safely say I know for sure our team won (wink-wink). They did great. It was a long day for the young ones. After that we headed over to the Buch household and hung out with some friends for awhile. See the Buch Family Blog under my peeps pics of the kids (I'd say boys, but my boys appeared to like to play dress-up in the GIRLS clothing). LOL!
Today we cleaned the garage, chased the dog....TWICE when she thought it might be a good day to run away (CRAZY!), stained/painted the swing-set, went to the park, etc., etc. You should have seen the kids after painting the swing-set.....I would have taken pics, but mommy was just as messy and covered in paint from chasing them.....boys with paint brushes is always interesting. I was also afraid my camera would end up a lovely shade of brown instead of the beautiful black color it is supposed to be.
I was not present for this, but I wish I had been.... Jason said that while he was up ont he upper level of the swingset that Belle attempted to climb up the slide (like the boys) do to get to him. She said she made it 1/2 way up before she started to slide and then she bailed and went over the side..... what a STICH that would have been to see.... maybe she will try it again.
