Suprise! Our new addition...

This is Belle! She is named after Belle Isle, which is where she was found only one to two days after having puppies. The puppies were nowhere to be found, she was grossly engorged, rail thin, and her coat was 1/2 gone. Her foster mom picked her up, bathed her, fed her and took her to the vet. She is a complete sweetheart! The boys have really taken to her. They are just as rough on her as Kayla and she has not complained once. She is approx. 18 mo-2 yrs old and PLAYS alot more than Kayla. She rides in the car great. Shows no food dominance. Was gentle at the vet. Walks about like Kayla does on the leash...not so good at first, but quickly settles in. Is housetrained. Does NOT bark. Wags her tail for everyone that comes to the door....hence, I have NO guard dogs here! Sleeps through the night ON A DOGBED in the living room. (J was worried there would be no room left for him in the bed). They think she is Boxer/American Bulldog....not 100% sure though. She acts like a boxer. I have not been around many American Bulldogs, so maybe she acts like them. Not sure.

We have taken her in for a two week trial period. Thus far, she is settling in fabulously with us and the boys. Kayla on the other hand is not doing so well. For 100 POUNDS...yes, she is grossly overweight....she is a big wussy. She has stopped eating and barely comes out of the bedroom. Fortunately, Kayla can stand to miss a few meals....maybe this is even good for her. Kayla will get up to go on all the walks with us, but will not run in the house because Belle chaces her...then she will tuck her butt and GROWL at her. Yes, Kayla is growling. It does not seem, to faze Belle. I am pretty sure it is just a warning to not chace her. Poor QUEEN Tata. Does she not realize she could eat this dog if she wanted? Or at least sit on her.... poor Belle would be defenseless with that much junk in the trunk sitting on her! Hopefully this works out. Will keep you posted.

Messy Mug!

He remained orangish for quite sometime! Love it:)

Nice day...

Seems like months ago, eventhough it was only a few weeks, when we had that GREAT weather I spent alot of time at the park with the boys. It was wonderful to get outside! We went for a long walk and Evan insisted on riding in the stroller...so I made him hold BB. It worked for a little while...then I think he got tired of it. Look at his face:)
Things have been crazy here as always. I started running again....slowly, but surely and thus far my knee seems to be holding up. BB is getting over being SICK. Evan is good. We went to Kindergarten "round-up" or sign-up last night. There were LOTS of parents there....and some kids too. I am torn as to what to do.....start Evan in kindergarten or keep him back one year. It really is a BIG dilema for me..... we will see. I think he is smart enough. I am just not sure he will keep his butt in the seat long enough.

Update...

Well, Saturday was crazy crazy, but we did GREAT for the LLS! Thank you to everyone who was able to make it. We raised about $1400.00 at Dooley's and altogether we are more than 1/2 there for our fundraising goal.....running on the other hand I am not so sure. I am able to start runnign again on the 19th.....so 7 more days.....YEAH! Jason was rear ended on Wed afternoon. Thus far he seems OK. His back is a little sore and the truck needs some fixin', but other than that he seems fine. He has an eight mile run planned for this Sat at Stoney Creek with the rest of the TNT team. Meanwhile, I stay home and watch the kids...all 5....I am watching out mentors three kids too since I am unable to run. Should be FUN! He has a girl who is 12, a boy 6 and another girl 4 yrs old. Thank goodness for our playroom downstairs.....or maybe we can go outside on the swingset....anyone know what it is supposed to be like weather wise?

We have three fundraisers coming up. Two TNT Team event and our PIU party. One is on the 21st at Jack's Waterfront in St. Clair Shores and the other is on April 19th at a bowling alley.....kid friendly. The cost is $20pp at Jack's and I will give you details as I get them for bowling.

What a GREAT DAY to be outside...

What GREAT weather we had today! I took the boys to the park for most of the day and then we came home and worked outside here. I was NOT going to be inside today, the weather was too PERFECT! We even took old lazy fat TATA for a walk. Poor girl! The boys have been TOTURING her lately. They LOVE to chase her everywhere! While we were walking Ev rode his bike he got for Christmas and did great. A few times he felt like he was going to fall so he just threw his hands up and jumped off, which in turn caused him to fall. It was FUNNY! It was almost like a balet move. You had to see it to understand. It was good comic relief to say the least! BB rode in the stroller. He missed his nap today because I was to busy dragging him around to enjoy the weather so he was TIRED! Playing can wear a poor kid out......and Mommy's LOVE THAT! Right fellow mommies? Hope tomorrow is the same weather....

Maybe I am nerotic...

Ok, so when your kids decide to get the cleaning tools out for fun it makes you take a step back and wonder if you are to nerotic or what? But then you look around at the state of your house and realize that you aren't because you cannot keep it unstickified and detoyed no matter what you do!

The Boat Show...

Well, I know this is a little late, but why change now! On the 14th all the Felosak's went to the Boat Show and Meme and Pop-pop purchased a pontoon boat with a "sports handling package" option. I do not know much about boats, but I know this one will be fast. The kids had a great time. Ev loved exploring EVERY boat, Brayden too! Mommy couldn't understand why her left knee hurt so bad walking all over COBO, but then later she found out she had a little thing called a stress fracture....OOPS! Congrats Meme and Pop-pop. Thanks for the nice day!
